I consider myself a very very fortunate person to have experienced a respectable amount of places and things, and encountered some incredible people, all in the course of 20 years. Despite feeling stalled by some rather limited facilities, and a relative lack of communication, my mind's still racing, and I'm practically foaming at the mouth to get back into practice.  That being said, in my isolation, and being as young, green, and desperate for life experience as I am, I went off on a whim and now find myself potentially apprenticing for a pastel maker.  If any of you aren't familiar with Henri Roché pastels, try to be---that's all I'm

Unpacked, a bit rested, ready to work again.  I got a new toy a while ago, a very small etching press, which I hope to make use of in the next three months.  Besides continuing with printmaking, I am starting photography next term as well, and anticipate it as much as my print studio; having taken a photopolymer class this past term has certainly added to this excitement.  I hope to be around here more a bit more, but even if I am not, I would like to wish anyone out there a great summer.

Beautiful artwork! You commented on my work a while ago and I am just now getting around to returning the courtesy (apologies)! :) I appreciate your traditional media and subject matter; it is refreshing in a see of fanart, anime, and computer manipulations (no offense intended here).

Thank you for sharing your beautiful artwork!
*ahem* "see" should be "sea" ;)
If you are interested, there is a Call for Entries for print making. More detail is here: [link]
